I’m surrendering my signature adult sartorial posts to bring you news about Sebastian Baby Wear, a newly launched range of clothing for little boys.
Don’t worry, I’m not going all Baby Gaga on you but this line is special as its modelled on a 15 month old little guy who had stolen my heart at birth.
My sister Tess and hubby Chirag, after creating their miracle baby Sebastian, found themselves disillusioned with locally-made clothing for boys. And so Sebastian Baby Wear was born; a quality, locally manufactured range of rompers, growers, onesies, hoodies and shorts designed for mommy’s little darling.
Still in its absolute infancy, their collection now includes teddy soothers, snoods, beanies, and blankets so luxurious, I was tempted to snuggle up in a cot at their pop-up shop in a mall last weekend.
The Sebastian Baby Wear kiosk will be up at Cavendish Square Mall in Claremont on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 July. Open from 09:00 until 17:00 each day you’ll find them on the ground floor new Aldo Shoes.
SBW will also be extending their Mandela Day 67 Minutes initiative by donating R6.70 from selected purchased items to the Newborns Trust.
Winter specials for the the weekend include:
* 4-pack cargo shorts, R120.
(Aged 3-6, 6-12, 12-18 and 18-24 months, you needn’t buy another pair of shorts for the next 2 years.)
* 2-piece romper & shorts, R100.
* Long sleeve grower, R70.
* Hooded romper, R240.
*Grower / romper combo, R300.
* The crowd puller, their luxury fleece blankets for girls and boys, R315 (normally R420)
Shop online at SebastianBabyWear and follow on Facebook , Twitter and Instagram for upcoming specials, new products and regular updates on the guy who holds my heart in the palm of his chubby little hands.
To the stars with your business, Tess & Chirag. To the stars!
